In this mode, the rules are the same as normal Picross, with the addition of two new rules: 1) Fill in squares with the same color as the hint number, and 2) When hint numbers are different colors, there may not be an empty square between correct squares.
There are detailed tutorials and convenient assist functions so that even newcomers can start playing right away.

Choose how to switch between colors from one of the four modes below.
Simple: Switch colors with one button
Choice: Pick a color from the palette
Slide: Switch colors with the L and R buttons
Direct: Fill in a color based on the assigned button.

You can now preview puzzles from the puzzle selection screen before playing them.

Additionally, previously in multiplayer modes, filled-in squares were marked with 1P as blue and 2P as red. Now, filled-in squares are marked with triangular color icons, which can be disabled at the push of a button.
